Summer begins at the Sanders home. We are keeping busy outside of the house as much as we can. Mommy is trying her best to come up with good ideas to keep us busy. So far, we made a bird feeder, mapped out a treasure map on our driveway, walk over to the Duck Pond to see the crazy geese and hang out at the Greenburgh Pool. Sophia is a busy body as much as ever these days, so when we are not getting chased by wild geese OUTSIDE, we are INSIDE: baking and writing letters to our family and friends. Also trying to keep her brain exercised by reviewing our US states and capitols and now we are memorizing the Presidents on dollar bills. Its funny because she is realizing that George Washington (Washington in particular) pops up a lot in our practicing. He is on the one dollar, he was the first President, and Washington DC is our Nation's Capitol...not to mention the State Washington. She is very intrigued to say the least! Xavier?? Well, I had to add this pic of him playing with Daddy's bicycle pedals because MOMMY did the same thing at the SAME age with Abuelita's bike and she has a SCAR on her right hand to show it! Must be a flash back for Abuelita to see that pic!
