More Snow Photos

Here are a couple of snow photos from yesterday. Its going to take a lot of warm weather to help the snow melt. Sophia is enjoying it though.

Snowed In

We got roughly 15" of snow last night and its still snowing. Brandon is snowed in from work and has begun shoveling the driveway for emergencies. Its pretty though, right?

Letter cookies

I know I am way behind in uploading photos onto Sophia's blog. She's been ill and not in the mood for photos. Today marks the third day on antibiotics and she seems a whole lot better already. Hope to take some photos tomorrow for all her fans. Stay tuned. Here are some photos taken about 3 weeks ago before heading to the aquarium with Max. She always picks up letters and says: "S for Sophia" "D for Daddy" "M for Mommy" and "C for Chloe" Its cute. She also knows "Z for Zoe" and "E for Elijah" :)

The Circus

Today, we took Sophia to the Circus! We were not so sure as to how she would enjoy live entertainment, but it was a great success (except for the clowns). She loved the white tigers, elephants, monkeys and horses! However, throughout the whole show, she kept repeating, "Sophie no like clowns." It was funny.

Martime Aquarium

This morning, Sophia and Max had a little outing at the Martime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT. They had such a great time visiting with all the fish and turtles. Max even named a turtle after Sophia when he pointed to a turtle and said, "Phia!"

For Abuelita...

These photos were taken for Abuelita. Abuelita had photos similar to these taken of her 4 children (Lucas wasn't born yet). There were SO many funny photos of Sophia just posing away without me saying anything. She tells stories about birds in the snow and her friend Little Bear.

Weather Man Got It Right

For a change, the meterologist was correct in predicting this snow storm. Schools are closed, airlines have cancelled flights and Sophia wants to play in the snow...and eat it. What to do on a snow day for us? We go shovel the snow!! Can't wait to build a snow man this weekend! Projected 12-18 inches for our area.

My Daughter?

Is she really my daughter? Sophia is just too cute to take photos of these days. I will tell her, "Put your hands on your hips." And she'll put her hands awkwardly on her hips and squat down and say, "Like this?" Its so funny!! :)

Super Bowl Sunday

Sophia had Lucy and family over for the Super Bowl. Obviously, Lucy slaved away in the kitched all day while Sophia just stared at the dessert!! We had a great time and managed not to get too crazy. :)

Circle Braid

I was a little bored this evening after dinner, so I tried a circle braid on Sophia's hair. She still doesn't have enough hair quite yet and its not really long enough...but it was a good try. :)

Crafty?

This evening, I was working on clearing my craft room. I was very occupied in sorting and clearing while Sophia talked away. I wasn't really paying much attention to her, directly behind me...I was just listening to her babble away about Little Bear. I turn around to find her little project!!! Its been a long day, too cold to play outside...so we stayed indoors. A couple spills and outfits later, this is what Sophia is wearing! LOL
