Here are a couple cute pictures of Annie just watching cars go by. The snow doesn't bother her too much for the first 10 minutes, but after that she starts shivering. Potty training is also very tough with the cold weather, snow and salt on the driveway. She's getting it though, everyday she gets better and better.

Sledding at Gedney Park
This morning, we all went to Gedney Park, a public park 12 miles north of our home. We brought Annie with us to keep Mommy warm while Sophia and Daddy climbed up the TALL mountain over and over. It was the perfect morning to go as no one else was there! Last year we came to this park for sledding and it was packed!! We all had a great time and Sophia was glad to have her Daddy with her to go sledding, "Daddy can come up the hill with me because he doesn't have a baby in his belly like you."

Christmas Eve
Sophia was actually able to nap today, and thank God for that! The cold really peaked today around noon and she was kind of out of it, with a glossy look over her face. She spent the day tracking Santa's route on the computer and making cookies for his arrival. "He's gunna take a break at my house," she said. She also made him some chocolate milk because "that's what he likes".
Christmas Eve Morning
This morning we were in high spirits eventhough Sophia had a rough night sleeping with a stuffy nose. Mommy wanted to take a picture of her Christmas tree and she kept saying, "Well what about a picture with my Christmas tree I made at school...what about a picture with Canada Moose...what about a picture with Santa...what about a picture with my scarf!?" It was cute and Mommy indulged.

Elmwood Pics
Here are a couple pictures from this week at school. That is Sophia in the car on the left in the first photo. Sophia and her class made some potato pancakes with apple sauce (which she apparently loved to eat...weird!) They also made some cookies with sprinkles and she was an expert baker. She is really enjoying school these days, even asking to go to school on the weekends. Daddy dropped her off at school this past Wednesday and she was thrilled to take him to her class for a short time. Every time other Daddy's take their children to class, Sophia will always ask me, "But where is my Daddy, Mommy?" ..it breaks my heart just a little bit. So, it was very exciting for her to have Daddy on Wed.

Wednesday
Sophia is so happy the house is up in Christmas decorations. She chats with the nutcrackers all day long and she plays with the train in her Christmas village. On the Christmas tree, she rearranges the ornaments and categorizes them by color and texture. At school, Sophia's class will go out to play in 30 degree weather. So, yesterday, we went shopping for some fleece lined jeans and I found one pair. She came up to me with the Mickey shirt (in the photo) and said, "Mommy can you buy this for me so I can show Daddy?" It was $6 and I couldn't resist. First thing this morning, she brings the shirt in to show Daddy. It was really cute.

Sophia's Gingerbread House
Sophia has been working on her gingerbread house since 9 a.m. today. Between a trip to the mall, a visit to see puppies and a Birthday party in the city...she's had a VERY LONG DAY. In between all the activities, she's gone back to her gingerbread house to "work". Its nearly 7:30, and we think she's done...but who knows. Everything on the house was placed there by her and her alone...besides the glue. She was the commander and cheif of this Ginger House. Yes, those are Whoppers on the rooftop.
