Sophia doing her morning business

I know Sophia probably will not appreciate me submitting these photos to her Senior yearbook page in 17 years...but I can't resist. She is so cute in the morning as she sits on the potty reading to Pipa for about 10 minutes! "All done, Mommy!!"

Oreo, please!

After a big dinner of noodles and meat sauce with mixed vegetables, Sophia enjoyed an oreo cookie...or at least, the center of it.

Cupcake or Lipstick?

We had Tia Priscilla over this weekend and she brought some cupcakes for dessert. Sophia ate all of her dinner, eyeing the cupcake that was her reward. She never ate the whole cupcake, only the top frosting which she also used at lipstick.

Friday's Playdate

Sophia had Max and Zoe over this morning for a playdate. We tried to get some time outside, being that the sun was out and it was almost 45 degrees. They threw rocks in the pond, watched the geese and played on the swings. However, their noses got cold pretty quick and we had to take it back inside.

Train Show at the Botanical Gardens

We went to the Botanical Gardens earlier this month and we had a great time with Lisa & Lucy and Masako & Alisa. It was pretty chilly, but we toughed it out to see the train! Each of the buildings were build with all "natural" items like bark, wax,leaves, seeds.

Cheerio Necklace

We were trying to find things around the house to keep us busy today. Daddy was working from the home office and Sophia wanted to visit with him constantly. Cheerio necklaces were a great solution to keep us occupied for a while.

Another Hat from Tia Leia

Leia, thank you so much for this beautiful, comfortable hat. This hat will be so useful this winter and winters to come. The colors are perfect to match anything.

Sophia discovers Playdough

This morning, still in our pajamas, we made pink playdough. Sophia really loved using the cookie dough and putting eyes on the dough creatures. This should keep us busy all day! Mommy asked Sophia, What does a duck say? and Sophia put the duck to her ear and said, "I don't know."

Sophia at the Farm

Did I put these photos up from our trip to CA? Sophia often requests to see the photos of her on the farm with Abuelito. She'll say, "Sasha feed cows, Mommy!" Everytime we read a book that has a cow, she is reminded that she helped feed the cows, "Sasha help Abuelito cows!" ps...she can say Sophia, but still refers to herself as Sasha.

Monday's Playgroup

Sophia had a great day today at her playgroup. The bounce house was a great success and she even got to cuddle with Baby Nate. Overall, a great day for the Little Miss who is on Day 4 of Potty Training. We had a doctor's check up, a visit with Lisa and Lucy, then dinner with the Kim family...all accident free.

Sophia's Toilet Training...

...is going quite well. Today (day 3 of NO DIAPERS), we've had a perfect day of potty training...and its 2 p.m. She even took a nap, accident free. When Sophia has to go to the bathroom, she yells, "Mommy, pee pee caca, pee caca!!"...then, we both run!!! I am very proud of her to say the least...she is remarkable.

Tonight Show with Sophia

Dylan Turns 2!

Sophia had such a great time at Dylan's Brithday Party this morning. There were a lot of good friends and good cupcakes to keep her smiling. Dylan really seemed to know it was his day of honor and loved having Gabrielle from music class as entertainment.
