Saturday Work

Brandon managed to have both Sophia and Xavier in the backyard, hard at work from 9 am till 5 pm. They came in for lunch and a nap, YES...even Daddy and Sophia napped! Brandon worked those little guys and they have some serious work ethic, let me tell you! Shoveling and pushing a miniature wheel barrow never looked so fun in all my life.

Gould Park

Last night, we headed 6 miles down the way to watch Daddy play some basketball on his 35 and older league! Its a nice park with a lot of swings and the jungle gym is just the right size for X to play independently on it. A nice cool, fall evening...looking forward to more evenings like this before its TOO cold to be out after the sun is down.

Apple Picking

We took Tia Leia and Shannon with us up to Dubois Farm this year for some crunchy apples and wee, bitty pumpkins. The weather was quite nice and so was the company! Sophia enjoyed taking charge with the apple picking and Xavier enjoyed his pony ride.

Wish Daddy could have made it!

Renaissance Faire 2012

What a morning at the Faire this am. After arriving, we waiting under a tent for nearly 45 minutes waiting for a rainstorm to pass. Thank goodness, it did!! We had a great time, parading around all the stages and games with Lucy and family. Sophia picked her an oyster and a beautiful white pearl from the bottom of the ocean. She will treasure it forever. X didn't really find anything too amusing except throwing rocks into puddles!!
