Playdate with Lucy

We enjoyed the beautiful afternoon with our friends Lucy and Lisa. It was a nice day to be outside...don't know how many more days we'll have like this!

Baking Cookies

Sophia wanted to bake something so we made sugar cookies. She chose the bear and we put pink frosting on them so they could look like her buddy, Pink Bear. It was lots of fun and they are really yummy.

Elmwood Day School

Sophia just arrived back from her first day of school. It was a great success and she even went potty with one of her teachers, Julie. She was very talkative the whole time and interacted well with her new friends. Today was only an hour class, however, starting Friday we will do the 2 hours.

First Day of School

Sophia has her first day of school today. She wasn't really in the mood for a photo shoot this morning, but I tried just the same. She found this scrap of trash she was much more interested in.

Race Day

Preparing for the D.C. Marathon on October 31, Daddy had an 18 mile race this morning in Central Park at 7 a.m! So, Mommy, Tia YahYah and Sophia packed up the stroller with donuts and Sport Beans (for Daddy) to go cheer everyone on. It was a beautiful morning and we had a great time in Central Park. After a little stretching lessons from Coach Sophia, we headed home to enjoy the rest of the morning.

A trip upto Lenox

Here are a couple shots of our day trip to see Tia Leia in Lenox, MA. Abuelita and Tio Lucas came along with us to see the show. It was a great trip and we were all glad to have had time to visit, especially for lunch, where we won $200 on a scratcher lotto ticket!
