Leia's visit

At 2:30 a.m., Tia Leia decided to take the train from Wassaic to White Plains for a day visit. She was on the 6:00 a.m. train and arrived at 8 a.m. We did a little shopping and eating and hung out for the day. Sophia believes that green apples are a secret fruit that makes her "strong" (that's what she's eating in the photo). It was great having Leia visit, hope to see her again soon.

A Morning at Muscoot Farm

Sophia and Mommy took a short drive to Muscoot Farm this morning. Sophia knows that Abuelito's cow just had a baby at the farm in CA and she's been asking to see the baby cow. So, Mommy had the great idea to go show her some baby calves up at Muscoot. When she saw the baby cow, she said, "Hi Baby Cow, I Sophia." It was really cute. She wanted to feed them, but it isn't allowed there. A great time though, just the two of us.

At the Park in Dobbs Ferry

This morning, we walked to a park in Dobbs Ferry with Lisa and Lucy. The playground was just the right size for Sophia to go exploring all by herself. We took a chance too because this park had no public bathroom. Sure enough, Sophia had to go potty an hour into playing. I convinced her that the grass was thirsty and she should just pee by the tree. With Kleenex in hand, Sophia did it! Afterwards, she pointed to another patch of grass and said, "Look Mommy, this grass thirsty too!" :) It was a little chilly out, expecting rain this afternoon. Its was 72 this morning.

Olympic Ceremony at Gym

Today, Sophia had her Olympic Ceremony at Gym. It was very chaotic and Sophia was in a very HIGH energy mood, practically bouncing off the walls. She spent a lot of time on the bars and jumping in place. I feel a good nap coming on...

Monday Afternoon

This afternoon, Sophia and Mommy went for a quick dip in the pool...for about an hour before it started raining! Poooo.

Pink Bear Album

I have been looking through a lot of old albums of Sophia's. I came across almost 40 photos of her and her dear friend, Pink Bear. Daddy gave Pink Bear to Sophia the day we brought her home from the hospital. Ever since then, the two have been unseperable and so cute together. I hope you enjoy this compilation of photos I have put together for your enjoyment...I personally got a big kick out of it. 4 Pink Bears later, she has one she knows of!! :)

Playland in Rye

This morning, we met Laura and Max at Playland. The weather was just right, with a little breeze and we were pratically the only ones in the park. Sophia really enjoyed the fast, dizzy rides while Max enjoyed the trucks and train rides! However, they both equally enjoyed the carrosel!
