Last time Abuelita was here, she would point out all the "Rose of Sharon" bushes/trees in our neighborhood. They are almost as common as the Japanese Maples we all love. Today, we are proud to annouce, we have our own Rose of Sharon bushes on our back deck. They are still in the middle of blooming with many little bulbs yet to be opened. Come out and see them!

Lucas assisted me in canning 18qrts of tomato sauce last night. We added some cilantro too! Tastes great! ...all vegis are from our own gardens. Can't wait until you come over and taste'm!
It wasn't the blue shirt the other day. Little Sophia is growing up. Eeeek.
