Run the Farm

What an amazing day. Sophia ran 0.6 miles for her first race debut at Muscoot Farms, 20 miles north of our home. We had the wonderful weather and Nicole, our friend for good company and memories. Xavier was a little tired from being woken up at 7:30, but he was really into watching the 300 runners and cheering them on. While we waiting, we checked out the white turkeys. After Sophia was done racing, she spent her prize money, $2, on two pickles at the farmers market.
