Weekend in Philly

Friday, we headed out to Philadelphia, just Mommy, Sophia and Xavier (Daddy was at a mountain biking outing for the weekend with guys from work). What a busy weekend, but we had SO much fun!! Tia YahYah has a sprinkler park just two short blocks from her apartment. It was so humid and hot, that it was refreshing to be splashed with water, the children LOVED it and we were so thankful. Saturday morning we headed southeast to the Jersey Shore, first stopping over in Atlantic City to collect seashells and eat at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids were both totally spooked by the huge Gorilla that would come to life every 5 minutes, it sat just above out table. On to Wildwood Crest, on the southern tip of the Jersey shore for a dinner cruise to watch the dolphins. Sophia and Xavier were in heaven on this boat!! Who would have thought?! We were in such good company with Sil and Jason, we even took Sophia and Xavier to the carnival on the Boardwalk after the dinner cruise at 9:30 pm!!! Everyone had such a great time, arriving back at Sil's apartment around midnight.
