Not sure you know or not, but Sophia missed her last day of school yesterday because she had a 103.5 temp. I took her to the doctor and there were NO OTHER SYMPTOMS, no ear infections, swollen glands, the runs, NOTHING! Just the high fever, so no antibiotics. Doc wanted S to just fight the virus the old fashioned way. Ha! The good thing was, Sophia didn't feel sick at all. She had a great appetite, lots of energy and her spirits were as normal as a wild beast. Her first sick day of the year, and it was the very last day of her school year...go figure! Anyway, we were able to make it to the school picnic today, which was a lot of fun for Sophia. Watching her socialize with all of her friends, is almost like watching a politician. She was one of the first students there and as all the other students arrived, she would welcome them as if it were her play ground, "Hi Laurel, come over here! Max is over there playing if you want to join him!" I had to stop and just watch her do her thing...super cute. Still has a mild fever this morning, 99.6 before we headed over to the picnic.
