Sophia came home from school wanting to bake some cookies, so we decided to make Jack-O-Lantern sugar cookies. She decorated them with candy and wanted to take them to the fire station in the afternoon. Xavier stood by snacking on banana and playing with toys while Sophia worked hard on her cookies. We planned on meeting Lisa and Astronaut Lucy down Main Street in Irvington for some music by the Fire Station and a walk through the village (while we waited for Daddys to get home from work). The Fire Men LOVED their home made cookies from a real Princess Mermaid. Sophia was delighted to hand them over. We cruised down Main Street and Xavier wasn't too crazy about all the fuss, but he hung in there. Lucy and Sophia were on a mission, they took Treak-or-treating very seriously. Sophia always made sure to grab a candy for her brother, Xavier, who is waiting in his car (LOL). After 30 minutes of down town, we packed up and headed home to go stop by our neighbor's homes who were anxiously waiting for Sophia and Xavier. They were so happy when Sophia finally arrived and each of them did their own little dance of "Wait, YOU are Sophia, my neighbor?!?!? I didn't even recognize you!!" She felt so special and was exhausted by the end. So was Mommy and Daddy...whew!

What a treat to read! ...on the right path when baking for our lonely firemen is her mission! WOW! ..and she's only 3.5yrs old! Looks like they had lots of fun, so glad. I thought we'd see lots of snow on Halloween night being the day after the rare snow storm? Glad there wasn't any!
We too had tons of fun here in little Shafter...great memories to share one day.
So crazy there's already snow on the ground; I have a feeling it's going to be a BRUTAL winter for all three of us girls. Love the pictures and especially the re-cap on the day's events. Lucy's astronaut costume is EPIC.
