Sophia's 2.5 year check up

This morning, Sophia braved Dr. Ivker's office for her 2.5 year check up. She was very happy to chat with Dr. Ivker about school, her big girl bed and some of her favorite things (like Pink Bear). She is in the 90th percentile for her height (36") and 80th for her weight (30 lbs.). Daddy came with us because Sophia had to have some blood work done to test her led and hemoglobin levels (Mommy can't take watching this). After she received her flu shot in the arm like a champ, not one tear, we headed down the hall to pee in a cup and get ready to give blood. She did SO WELL as the nurse stuck her arm and found her vain to fill up one vile. It was when the nurse pulled the needle out that Sophia cried a little bit. All day long, she's been saying, "Mommy, I don't want to get a shot again." This afternoon, Sophia helped Mommy set up a Christmas train set and we watched it for a good hour before Sophia said, "What do we do next?". What a day...
